Access Web Portal
The LT Auditor MP web portal is the central interface for all platform administration and daily use. This article covers how to access the portal, log in, and navigate the main interface.
Accessing the portal:
Open a browser on any machine with network access to the LT Auditor MP server and navigate to the portal URL:
[Your administrator should confirm the correct server address and port for your deployment.]
LT Auditor MP supports the following browsers:

- Mozilla Firefox
- Microsoft Edge
Logging in:
- Enter your Username
- Enter your Password
- Click Sign In
After successful login you will be directed to the main dashboard. The modules and features available to you depend on your assigned role and permissions.
Role-based access control:
LT Auditor MP uses role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure users only access features relevant to their responsibilities. Access to specific modules and actions within those modules is controlled by permissions assigned to each user role.
Examples of permission-controlled actions include:
| Action | Permission Required |
| Creating environments and categories | createDefine |
| Creating audit filters | createFilter |
| Updating audit filters | updateFilter |
| Deleting audit filters | deleteFilter |
| Deleting environments or categories | deleteDefine |
| Generating and sharing reports | Role dependent |
| Managing users and system settings | Administrator |
[Your administrator should confirm which roles and permissions are assigned to your account and what actions you are authorized to perform.]
Main navigation:
The portal uses a main navigation menu providing access to all platform modules:
| Module | Purpose |
| Define | Set up audit environments and log categories |
| Configure | Set up receivers and transformation rules |
| Manage | Create and manage audit filters |
| Reports | Create, schedule, and manage reports |
| View | Browse and search audit log data in real time |
| Comply | Manage compliance frameworks and monitor compliance status |
| Admin | Manage users, roles, collector configuration, and system settings |
First time setup:
If this is the first time accessing the portal after a fresh installation, the following initial setup steps should be completed before the platform is used in production:
- Change the default administrator password — navigate to Admin → User Management and update the default admin credentials immediately
- Define your environments — navigate to Define and set up the environments and log categories relevant to your deployment
- Configure receivers — navigate to Configure and set up receivers to process incoming audit log data from your collection modules
- Set up audit filters — navigate to Manage and configure filters to retain, alert on, or discard incoming events
- Connect collection modules — install and configure the relevant collection modules and confirm data is flowing into the platform
- Create reports and views — set up the standard reports and views your team will use for monitoring and compliance purposes
- Configure compliance frameworks — if compliance monitoring is required, navigate to Comply and set up the relevant frameworks and rules
[Your administrator should complete this setup checklist before granting access to other users.]
