LT Auditor+ v8.0 for Windows Service Pack (SP) 4 provides four new features and resolves several issues experienced with earlier versions of LT Auditor+ v8.0 for Windows. New features are:

• Capability to transfer native Windows event log files from individual servers to a remote location for storage and archival purposes
• Significant improvement in reporting speeds—up to 50% faster!
• Enhanced report querying—reports can now be generated based on server name
• Enhanced reporting for SYSLOG messages

Moving Native Windows Event Log Files to a Remote Location
LT Auditor+ SP3 gave users the ability to archive the native windows event logs on the individual servers. LT Auditor+ SP4 introduces the capability to transfer these archived log files to a remote location. This frees up disc space on the individual servers and provides additional security for the archived logs.

Significant Improvement in Reporting Speeds
LT Auditor+ SQL Report Generator now offers greatly improved speeds for generating SQL reports. Reports running on a SQL Server database now run up to 50% faster than prior versions of the LT Auditor+ SQL Report Generator.

Enhanced Report Querying
SP4 gives you the ability to query and run reports based on Server name. The columnar reports for the LT Auditor+ SQL Report Generator now displays a “SERVER” column. Querying for activity from specific servers is now permitted, by using the additional arguments field under the Options tab on the Report Generator. Server names should be specified in the additional arguments using the switch %Server=Servername1, Servername2 etc.

Enhanced Reporting for Syslogs
SP4 adds additional Syslog queries and reports to the LT Auditor+ SQL Report Generator.
