Blue Lance announced today the addition of Jeff Kushner as Vice President of Marketing, Chris Roach as Senior Vice President of compliance strategies, and Chuck Shomper as Senior Vice President of external relations.

Jeff Kushner will be responsible for Blue Lance’s global marketing strategy, including product and corporate marketing, brand management and communications. Kushner joins Blue Lance from BindView, now Symantec, where he served as director of corporate business development and analyst relations. Kushner brings more than 23 years of experience in leadership positions including product management, marketing and technical management with BMC Software, Compuware Corporation, Sun Microsystems and Electronic Data Systems.
Chris Roach brings more than 20 years of experience in information technology and business risk management to his role as senior vice president of SOX compliance strategies. Prior to joining Blue Lance, Roach served as president and CEO of Think-IT Services, LLC, a provider of IT regulatory compliance and software product enhancement services. Prior to founding Think-IT Services, Roach served as a principal of KPMG’s Risk Advisory Services practice. Roach also serves as president of InfraGard Houston Members Alliance and is an active member of the Information Systems Security Association and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
Chuck Shomper joins Blue Lance as senior vice president of external relations with more than 40 years of experience as a senior information technology manager and CIO of several well-known institutions. Prior to joining Blue Lance, Shomper was the first person assigned to serve as both vice chancellor of IT at the University of Houston System and vice president of information technology at the University of Houston. Shomper has also served as chairman of the CIO Executive Summit and as vice chairman of the Greater Houston Partnership’s Technology Infrastructure Task Force.
