Blue Lance, a leading computer security software company, today announced the opening of two new offices near Washington, D.C. and Austin, Texas, and the addition of three new sales managers as part of its rapid expansion in U.S. and international markets.
The Blue Lance office in northern Virginia will serve clients in and around the Washington, D.C. area, with a focus on the government sector. Blue Lance hired former RSA sales executive Rita Etter in May to head up the new office as Government Sales Manager. Etter has been in the information security field for nine years.
Western Region Sales Manager Dan Vooletich will manage the Austin office when it opens later this month. Vooletich has been a sales manager with Blue Lance for two years and has been instrumental in securing major clients such as Wells Fargo and Blue Cross Blue Shield. The Austin office will serve the needs of Western Region clients, including those in major markets such as Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
In order to facilitate its international expansion, Blue Lance has hired PS Raju as International Sales Director – ASPAC. In that role, Raju will expand the company’s direct sales and channel relationships in the Asia Pacific region. Raju joined Blue Lance from Compaq/HP, where he held positions including Business Manager for Business-to-Partner eCommerce, Business Unit Head for Enterprise Storage Options in ASEAN, and Country Manager Indo-China.
Derek Lamberth joined Blue Lance as Territory Manager in May to spearhead sales in Houston, the company’s home market. Lamberth, a 10-year technology sales veteran, was previously a sales manager for Nortel Networks. He joins Blue Lance on the heels of several major awards for the company’s contributions to the local business community, as well as its title sponsorship of the premier technology conference and expo, Houston ITEC.
